A Letter

Dear People of Japan,

May ripples of petals
and scents of prayers
reign on your shores.

Love,
me

This post and the header image are dedicated to my friend,
miss Kathy, simply because our tears mingle
and her ache is mine.

And yes, miss, I am heading straight back to bed,
so don't go opening your Texas size can of whoop just yet.

Gorgeous photo, and profoundly simple (simply profound?) letter/prayer.

Loved your post at "Miss Kathy's." Hope you're healing well.

Simple, elegant, to-the-point post.

You will tell us when it's time to open up the can of vhoop.

This is beautiful. I do believe you could spend this time away writing short poetry. It suits you. :)

A bouquet of love to you!

You know, I was just thinking this week I hadn't seen you around anywhere lately and was going to stop in and say hello. Then I saw your piece over at Katdish's and read of your . . . mishap.

Rest up, be well. And considered yourself prayed for (though it appears that front is already very well covered. ;-)

Hey Darlene,
Haven't read much lately. Glad I stopped in. Love that beautiful flower...nothing beats a red rose. Just heard about your accident. Hope you are feeling better...

Blessings to you and your guys!
